Green Ahalia Strengthens Academic Collaboration through Visit to TDU

As part of its ongoing commitment to biodiversity conservation, research, and academic collaboration, the Green Ahalia team visited the University of Trans-Disciplinary Health Sciences and Technology (TDU), Bengaluru on 22nd and 23rd July 2026. The visit provided an opportunity to interact with leading scientists, academicians, and nursery specialists to explore avenues for collaborative research, conservation, and knowledge exchange. During the visit, the team toured TDU’s renowned nursery and herbarium, identifying and procuring a diverse collection of rare, medicinal, and indigenous plant species to enrich Green Ahalia’s conservation initiatives. Fruitful discussions were held with distinguished experts, including Prof. Darshan Shankar, chancellor TDU, Vice Chancellor, Registrar, and faculties like Dr. Noorunnisa Begum (Herbarium incharge), Dr. Subramanykumar (Trans disciplinary research), Ms. Revathi Nursery in charge, other faculty members, focusing on plant conservation, research collaboration, and future academic partnerships. The interactions established a strong foundation for long-term institutional cooperation while enriching Green Ahalia’s plant collections and strengthening its research and educational initiatives.
