FROM SEEDLING TO BLOOM

As part of our MoU with KFRI, Green Ahalia gifted a well-established Euryale ferox seedling produced at our campus facility to Dr. Mallikarjuna Swami, Principal Scientist and the Scientist-in-Charge, KFRI Sub Centre, Nilambur, for growing there. During his visit to Green Ahalia on January 16, 2026, he received the seedling. After taking it to Nilambur, the KFRI team grew it in a special lily pond. Recently, they shared the news and photographs of the successful establishment and its flowering in their garden. This is indeed a significant milestone in this collaborative conservation initiative between the two institutions. We thank KFRI for their support.
