On 21st January Green Ahalia team consisting of Sri Shaibu, Mr. Sabik and Dr. Haridasan visited MBGIPS and met Prof. Sabu who is an international authority on Ginger group of Plants. Discussed on our proposal INSA Lecture workshop at Ahalia Ayurveda College. Also visited the 50 acre botanic garden. Prof. Sabu and Dr. Harish, Scientist there took us around and explained the different components like the Ginger valley, Balsam and Begonia houses, Lichen house, Fern and Bryophyte house. The new Cactii and Orchid collections were also showed to us. It was indeed a learning experience for us to see the modified green houses. They also gave us Planting materials of few Zingibers.
