Inauguration of new theme garden – “Gajaseva – A garden for elephant health”

Green Ahalia laid its new footstep in establishing a new theme garden “Gajaseva – A garden for elephant health” at Ahalia Campus. The 43rd theme garden is inaugurated by Dr. Kannan CS Warrier, Director, Kerala Forest Research Institute, Peechi who mentioned in his speech, that this is unique and first of its kind in the state. The programme was attended by Dr. Sheba Sunil (Principal, AAMCH), Dr. Sreejith M Nair (Principal, ASPS), and Dr. Suraj (Retd. Head, Dept. of Botany, SN College, Nattika) and extended felicitations. Doctors and students from AAMCH participated and joined in planting the seedlings.

The chief guest Dr. Kannan Warrier also planted a sapling in the Smruthi Vatika. He appreciated the efforts by Green Ahalia and assured KFRI’s full support for our R & D programmes.
