Green Ahalia visited BSI Kolkata

A two members team consisting of Mr. Shaibu and Mr. Sabik from Green Ahalia visited BSI Kolkata during 10 to 15 February and attended 2nd International Symposium organized by Botanical Survey of India in connection with 134th foundation day celebration and presented a poster entitled “Multi-faceted Botanical garden for conservation and resource management – Our experience”. The team visited AJCB Botanical Garden and got information on Palmetum, Victoria Amazonica plant, Double Coconut Palm, Great Banyan Tree. The team also visited Indian Museum and Science City. There were 500 participants including 20 foreign participants who attended and 382 research article were presented in the symposium. The Hon. Minister of MoEF & CC. Mr. Bhubendra Yadav and Ms. Namitha Prasad, Joint secretary MoEF & CC were intereacted with the delegates. There we have interacted with many eminent personalities, scientist and researchers. We have received the proceedings that included our abstract.
