Former Chief Secretary Visits Green Ahalia Thematic Gardens

Former Chief Secretary of Kerala, V. P. Joy, visited the Green Ahalia Thematic Gardens on 14-09-2026 and explored its diverse plant collections. During the visit, he toured the Orchid, Fern and Cactus gardens, appreciating the rich diversity of plants and the efforts in their conservation. He also visited the Victoria amazonica, one of the world’s largest water lilies, and observed its distinctive features. The visit highlighted the importance of botanical gardens in promoting plant conservation, biodiversity awareness and appreciation of nature.
