Green Ahalia with a different attempt
Mangroves are unique in many respects. They are in most vulnerable habitat. They have Breathing roots which are negatively geotropic and grows above water and face sky wards. Further they are endowed with vivipary that its seeds germinate while attached to the tree to survive the tidal effect during regeneration. Knowing very well that is going to be a challenge, team green Ahalia Shaibu and Sabik ventured to collect two available mangrove plant saplings to grow in our campus offering salinity. If survived, it will be quite good for biology students to learn. Obviously adding value to our garden.
