Eminent Ecologists and Researchers visit Green Ahalia

Dr. Rathina Sabapathi, Chief Ecologist and Dr. Gunasekaran S.S. Research Foundation, along with Prof. Ilangovan, former Professor, visited Green Ahalia.
During the visit, Dr. Rathina Sabapathi made a comprehensive presentation highlighting the activities, research initiatives, and major areas of work of his institute. This was followed by an interactive discussion on the possibilities for collaboration with Green Ahalia in the area of plant conservation.
The team also visited various thematic gardens and the herbal garden at Ahalia Public School (APS). They appreciated the unique concept and initiatives of Green Ahalia. The visitors gifted us three saplings of Ficus beddomei and Mangifera andamanica.
The visit provided an excellent opportunity for knowledge sharing and exploring potential areas of collaboration and funding solutions. As they returned we have also gifted them Cycas annaikalensis and Zingiber sabuanum as mandated under ABG project.
