Surprise visit by KUHS Vice Chancellor to Green Ahalia

On 6th September 2025, we were honored to welcome Prof. (Dr.) Mohanan Kunnummal, Vice Chancellor of Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS), to Green Ahalia. During his visit, we had the opportunity to showcase our thematic gardens and innovative cultivation model development initiatives, including Phytovoltaic model, Sandal based agroforestry models, Propagation techniques in our Mist Chamber, Rare, Endangered & Threatened (RET) species in our RET Garden Sanketham, Gajaseva, Dye Yielding plants garden and other themes in Star Forest area. Prof. (Dr.) Kunnumel planted a sapling of Terminalia chebula at Smrithivatika, commemorating his visit. He expressed deep appreciation for our conservation efforts and innovative approaches to sustainable ecosystem development.
