Sharing is caring : Green Ahalia Shared a unique water plant with KFRI Subcent

Dr. G. E. Mallikarjuna Swamy, Principal Scientist and the Scientist in charge, KFRI Sub Centre, Nilambur to our Ahalia campus on 16th January 2026. Dr. Deepu Shivadas, Junior Scientist also accompanied him. During the visit, Green Ahalia team a conducted tour of the thematic gardens was organised for them. Our propagation efforts in Mist Chamber, nurseries, and innovative cultivation models including Phytovoltaic, Sandal based agroforestry models, and themes relating to Indian system of Medicine like Gajaseva, Dasamoolam, Balaadi, Vrikshayurveda and others enthused the visitors. Dr. Mallikarjuna Swamy expressed his deep appreciation on the efforts taken by Green Ahalia and innovative approaches ensuring greener and a sustainable environment. We shared seedlings of Euryale ferox, Zingiber sabuanum, Decalepis hamiltonii, Holostem adakodien and available Palms for their gardens. It’s a way of our conservation efforts.
