Green Ahalia has received a project support under Assistance to botanic gardens from MoEF & CC Government of India. We consider it a privilege for us in joining the nation in the conservation effort of the country. Though, We have a target of 9 species, we are planning to address 19 species more taking the total to 28 species. We have so far received strong support from the botanical survey (Southern circle), and regional research institutes, gardens and professionals that prompted us to apply for this support. With all that support and guidance continue we are certain that we will be able to contribute to the conservation arena of the state especially to the Palakkad region. Mr. Sabik is the PI for the project who will lead the work along with other team members of Green Ahalia.
