PROFESSOR JACOB VARGHESE KUNTHARA VISITS AHALIA CAMPUS

The Green Ahalia had the privilege of welcoming the eminent columnist who carries articles on gardening in Karshaka shree Magazine. Well known author and Professor, Dr. Jacob Varghese Kunthara, on 23rd October 2025. During his visit, Sir was taken to the Green Ahalia thematic gardens, Demonstration plots, Propagation trial at Mist chamber, shade house, APS Syllabus garden and the off-campus plots at Chayathara. He was also visited our Seed Museum. We could also get a sapling planted in our Smrithi Vatika to commemorate his visit.

Prof. Jacob could spent some time in Heritage Museum and Sculpture Park in Ahalia campus. Inspired by one of his insightful articles published in Karshakasri, the Green Ahalia staff members Anagha and Vishnu had prepared a terrarium on which Professor Jacob offered his valuable suggestions and shared expert advice on ways to further enhance their design and maintenance of the terrariums.
