INSA Fellow visits Ahalia Campus

INSA Fellow visits Ahalia Campus Dr. R. Raghavendra Rao, former Director grade Scientist CIMAP (CSIR) from Bangalore visited Ahalia campus at the instance of Green Ahalia. He has visited most of our theme gardens and other facilities. Dr. Rao appreciated the works on biodiversity and resource utilisation. He evinced keen interest in our RET garden, dye yielding plants garden, Kerala Thanima, Gymnosperms and spiritual garden, etc. A new thematic garden – Ottayan : the single drug plants was inaugurated by him by planting a sapling. He gave few important suggestions that can take the garden to self-sufficiency. He had also visited the Ahalia Medicine Manufacturing Unit and interacted with the staff here and keenly observed the manufacturing process here.
