Green Ahalia Team In Trivandrum Connecting Biodiversity Sector

Recently Green Ahalia Team consisting Mr. Sabik, Mr. Shaibu and Dr. Haridasan has made a short trip to Trivandrum (21 -22 May 2025) for visiting some of the best institutes/ organisations in biodiversity. The first visit was to JNTBGRI where a good lot of interaction has happened with the Director and several Scientists. Dr. V. Arunachalam the JNTBGRI Director spent good time interacting with the team and guided us to his field research. Mr. Mansur, Dr. Jabbar, Dr. Hussain etc are few highlighted the research in the field of Medicinal plants, Orchids, Fruit plants, Bamboos etc. Green Ahalia could buy lot of species from this institute.

The team was also with KSBB wherein we met the chairman, Dr. Anilkumar and the Member Secretary, Dr. V Balakrishnan. Both of them agree to our invitation to visit Green Ahalia campus. The discussions cantered around establishing new themes and holding workshops to foster Indian biodiversity.
We also took chance to visit PCCF wildlife for following up our application to get approval for plant collection of RET species. Our visit also yielded exposure to Mangrove vegetation along Poovar Mangrove near Trivandrum.
