Green Ahalia join Hands with Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College in Organising Talk on Taxonomy

As part of the inauguration of the ABHAYODHYANAM – A Garden for Threatened Plants, Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College and Green Ahalia organised a scientific lecture for the sake of Ayurveda students. In this scientific session, Dr. S. S. Hameed, Head of Office, Botanical Survey of India (BSI), Southern Regional Centre, Coimbatore, delivered an informative talk on ‘Plant Identification and its Application in Ayurveda’. The session provided an overview of the history of plant taxonomy and genesis of Botanical survey of India. Dr. Hameed, discussed, the relevance of plant taxonomy in Ayurveda especially to the production of quality medicine and treatment.
