Green Ahalia holds consultation meeting with Dr. Remesh Moochikkal, Curator of Jazan University Herbarium (JAZUH) on 13th June 2025

On our request Dr. Remesh Moochikkal, Curator of Jazan University Herbarium (JAZUH), Department of Biology, Jazan University, Saudi Arabia came to Green Ahalia on 13th June 2025 and was taken around our theme gardens. Further, we had a consultation meeting with him in establishing a specialized herbarium at Green Ahalia. He strongly endorsed the idea and suggested the steps in establishment of a state of the art Herbarium and getting international accreditation from Index Herbariorum.

He also gave a detailed presentation titled “Herbarium” that covered from the genesis to the present. The venue for the presentation was conference hall of Ahalia Ayurveda Medical college Hospital and attended by over 50 students and faculty members of the college. He appreciated the activities we are undertaking and extended his good wishes to Ahalia group and promised full support and guidance for our future endeavors.
