GREEN AHALIA ADDS ONE MORE CONSERVATION GARDEN – ABHAYODHYANAM

Green Ahalia’s 50th thematic garden, ABHAYODHYANAM – A Garden for Threatened Plants, was inaugurated by Dr. S. S. Hameed, Head of Office, Botanical Survey of India (BSI), Southern Regional Centre, Coimbatore, accompanied by Dr. M. Murukesan and Dr. W. Arisdasan, the 2 Scientists from BSI, Coimbatore. Dr. S. S. Hameed planted a Syzygium palghatense sapling in the Abhayodhyanam plot at Chayathara and Dr. Murukesan planted sapling of Utleria salicifolia and Dr. Arisdasan Planted Madhuca insignis. Dr. Hameed also planted an Elaeocarpus tuberculatus sapling in the Smrithivatika, thematic garden.
