APS students visit to Ahalia thematic gardens

Students from Ahalia Public School visited the Green Ahalia thematic gardens on November 18th, 2025. After reaching the Star forest, they were given a brief introduction by Mr. Sabik about the gardening and landscaping. Later they were taken around the thematic gardens in the star forest. The students visited the Butterfly garden, star plants, Jalanidhi, Foliage house, Orchidarium, Kandal kazhcha, Danger zone, Keralapiravi and other theme gardens. The students learned about the gardening, landscaping, plant habit and habitat. They gained an understanding of the different types of plant groups and their morphological characters. This visit contributed significantly to the student’s practical knowledge and understanding that extended well beyond classroom learning.
