Ahalia Campus hosts training: Promoting Sustainable Tourism in Kerala – Building a Greener Future
12 officers from tourism and forest department, Govt of Kerala visited Ahalia campus in connection with Three-day Compulsory Training Program for Group A / Class 1 Officers on 16th July 2025. This event was organized by Kerala Forest Research Institute. This included indoor lectures and field visits. Dr. K Haridasan gave a presentation about Ahalia campus and its green initiatives. Later Dr. RVK Varma explained about Ahalia Heritage Village and Sculpture Park. After the lecture session the team visited the campus, Green Ahalia cultivation models, thematic garden, Heritage village and Sculpture Park. The visitors left the campus, apparently satisfied. Their visit is expected to trigger tourism activities connected to Ahalia.
