Green Ahalia has been working in tandem with the SFD where CCF Eastern Circle is always in touch with our conservation and afforestation efforts. Now that Sri Vijayanandan IFS who has been supporting us in our outreach activities, is moving out to join as CCF Central Circle Thrissur. As mark of our respect and gratitude, the team Green Ahalia visited him in his office chamber and paid Adieu to him and welcomed Dr. R. Kamalahar IFS, the new incumbent. We had a brief meeting with the CCFs and DCF Palakkad wherein we discussed on our proposal to reintroduce threatened plants we have multiplied to similar new locations in the district. We have also invited the new CCF to Green Ahalia. Later we met the DFO Social Forestry Ms. Sumu Scharia and requested her to explore possibility of incorporating our Threatened plant seedlings to social forestry plantations under their different afforestation schemes. With this we expect to receive the same patronage from State Forest Department.
