Green Ahalia Receives Extension of Forest Collection Permission

Green Ahalia had a forest permission to collect threatened plants from forests of Kerala for implementing our ABG (assistance to botanic Gardens) project of MoEF & CC govt of India which is about to expire. Under this circumstance Green Ahalia applied for permission from the Kerala State Forest Department to collect plant materials required for conservation and research activities. After an endorsement from KSBB (Kerala State Biodiversity Board) and scrutiny our application has been approved, and we got the permit extended till March 2027. This permission will help us in our conservation efforts and will facilitate the collection of plant specimens in accordance with the prescribed guidelines and regulations.
