Exploring Forest collaboration

Tuesday (09-05- 2026) has been a memorable day for green Ahalia with two key interactions with two different forest official engaging with our team. In the forenoon had a fruitful meeting with Sri S. Jayashankar IFS where in we could finalise the exposure visit of Trainee Forest staff to Ahalia. Probably this will be regular event.
In the afternoon we had the visit of Sri Vijayananthan IFS, CCF Eastern Circle, KSFD, Palakkad and had a detailed discussion on reintroduction of threatened plants to forest lands, holding workshop jointly for forest protection force and enforcing protection measures for the few trees of Critically Endangered Syzygium palghatensis in Nelliyampathy. This is a great step to biodiversity conservation in Western Ghats. He visited our theme gardens and Weather station.
