LEARNING BEYOND WALLS – ASP STUDENTS VISIT TO GREEN AHALIA GARDENS
As part of the curriculum enrichment activities, the students of Ahalia School of Pharmacy visited Green Ahalia on November 12, 2025. The objective of the visit was to provide students with exposure to medicinal plants and to familiarize them with plant collection techniques and herbarium preparation. The visit began with an informative session introducing the journey of Green Ahalia and the diverse gardens established within the campus. Students explored the propagation chamber, various thematic gardens such as Star Forest, Sthreeshakti, Ottayan, Chayakootu, and Gajaseva, as well as the different cultivation models maintained in our campus. The visit offered valuable experiential learning, enhancing the students’ understanding of plant diversity, conservation, and the practical aspects of pharmacognosy.
