GREEN AHALIA IN SAHYADYUTI 2025

Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College organized 6-day CME Programme – “Sahyadyuti: Exploring the Botanical Treasure of the Western Ghats” for the faculties of Dravyaguna Vijnana. Green Ahalia joined the event by arranging a thematic exhibition at the venue featuring the RET plants and Medicinal plants with farming potential for Palakkad district.

The inaugural session was graced by Vaidya Dr. G. G. Gangadharan as the Chief Guest, who gave an inspiring speech and inaugurated the CME programme. Mrs Sriya Gopal, Dr. Sheba Sunil, Dr. K. Haridasan, Green Ahalia, Dr. Anoop and Dr. Rabinarayan Acharya spoke in the inaugural session.The Technical session had lectures by Dr. K. Sujanapal, Principal Scientist, KFRI Peechi who elaborated about the medicinal flora and Dr. Maya C. Nair, presented an in-depth understanding of the Flora of Palakkad. Dr Subramania Padyana spoke on Dravya guna at large. All the resource persons were taken around the thematic gardens, the conservatory plots and Mist chamber propagation of Green Ahalia. The participants and delegates were impressed by the Green Ahalia initiatives and conservation strategies.

On the second day the programme, was coordinated by Green Ahalia. Dr. K. Haridasan, spoke on Herbal gardens and Health Security followed by projection of the Green Ahalia video. A conducted tour of the thematic gardens was the highlight of the day.
