AROGYA PACHA- Live demonstration of Herbal remedies for students

Green Ahalia, in collaboration with Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College and Ahalia Public School, organized a live demonstration on herbal remedies for Class 11 students of Ahalia Public School. The program aimed to provide Familiarity with Plants for Herbal gardens and primary health care to the students. The event also provided hands-on experience preparation of herbal medicine and their preparation. Dr. Sheba Sunil, Principal AAMCH, delivered the presidential address connecting the event to 10th Ayurveda day 2025. Dr. K. Haridasan, Consultant, Green Ahalia, made a presentation highlighting the importance of herbal gardens, traditional knowledge on medicinal plants, and their role in primary health care.

Following this, Dr. Sethu, Associate Professor at Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College, along with his team (Dr. Krishna Priya) briefed about the programme and introduced them to Ayurveda. Dr. Arya Varma and Dr. Manju along with their students conducted a live demonstration on preparing basic herbal remedies for primary health care. Students actively participated in preparing the formulations themselves to gain a holistic perspective of, medicinal plants, their uses and preparation techniques. A total of five basic medicinal preparations were demonstrated. Career guidance and opportunities in the fields of Ayurveda and Botany were explained, helping students gain awareness about the diverse job prospects and related career.
