AHHKV
AAEPL is a subsidiary of Ahlaia Group. Ahalia Group started as a clinic in Abu Dhabi in the year 1984. Superior service quality launched it into a growth path and saw the clinic growing into a hospital, expanding to multiple locations and various businesses in a small span of time. Ahalia Group now comprises hospitals, medical centers, pharmacies, trading centers and money exchanges located all over the United Arab Emirates (U.A.E.) including Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman and peripheral areas such as Mirfa, Mussafah, Gayathi, Baniyas, Rehba and Beda Zayed. It holds a respectable position as a first option service provider to people from all classes of the society.
In 2005, Ahalia Group spread its presence into India, Kerala with a unique concept of a consortium of health, heritage and knowledge concepts. The Ahalia Health, Heritage and Knowledge Village was established in Palakkad with a visionary purpose of addressing a 3 fold holistic societal need for health, culture and educational wellbeing. The theme was one of inheriting the knowledge of the rich cultural and scientific history of the country and using it to address the needs of the current society and bestowing this experience and impetus to the coming generations. Sustainability was the central core of the initiative and the vision of the group envisages a sustained growth in health, knowledge, culture, energy, food and environmental protection.
AHHKV was established in the foothills of Western Ghats with great scenic charm and yet possessing challenges in the form of harsh weather. But true to the Group’s vision, AHHKV has now been transformed into a vast, eco-friendly blossoming campus with nine rainwater harvesting farms, organic farming, animal rearing, energy projects and a green picturesque campus. This well-planned and well-connected campus, which focuses on healthcare, heritage and education, today offers the perfect environment for its inhabitants consisting of employees of Ahalia, patients from diverse background, artists from various parts of India and a vibrant student community.
The campus is home to four specialty hospitals (Ahalia Foundation Eye Hospital, Ahalia Diabetes Hospital, Ahalia Women and Children Hospital, Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College Hospital), a heritage village(Ahalia Heritage Village), seven educational institutions (Ahalia Public School, Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College Hospital, Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology, Ahalia School of Pharmacy, Ahalia School of Optometry, Ahalia School of Paramedical Sciences, Ahalia School of Management) , a manufacturing unit(Ahalia Medicine Manufacturing Unit) and Ahalia Alternate Energy Pvt. Ltd. To support these establishments and its residents, the campus also provides housing, dining, banking, transportation, shopping and recreational facilities.
AAEPL
Ahalia is one of the pioneers of large scale production of alternate energy solutions in North Kerala and is committed to the development of alternate energy sources to fuel growth. A subsidiary of Ahalia Group, AAEPL was established as a continuum to the vision of its makers to create self reliance and sustainability in energy management. AAEPL is located within the Ahalia, health, heritage and Knowledge village in Palakkad, Kerala. AAEPL has been making commendable contributions to meet electricity demands of Kerala ever since its inception in 2013 and have forayed into wind power and solar pv systems. It also undertakes the manufacturing and marketing of alternate energy products in addition to providing expert consulting and research services in the field of alternate energy. It is uniquely positioned to capitalize on the increasing demand for wind power harnessing in Kerala and nearby states.
AAEPL has commissioned 8.4 MW Wind Energy projects through 4 WTGs of 2.1 MW capacity which was the first project of this scale by a domestic private investor. AAEPL developed capability in-house to be involved in the planning, installing and commissioning phase of the project and has succeeded in injecting more than 33 million units to KSEB grid since. AAEPL runs the project as an independent power producer and boasts a machine performance that has exceeded the predicted generation levels by up to 20% with an annual generation of 2,31,15,190 units.
AAEPL has continuously bagged in succeeding years starting from 2014 the Award of excellence from KSPCB for excellence in energy management. AAEPL is consultant to the Swedish Consortium in E4T micro grid concept for Andaman and Nicobar Islands. AAEPL has also provided expert consulting services in energy sector to organizations like V Guard, Kottakkal Arya Vaidyasala etc.
