NAVAGATHAR- Amherstia nobilis<\/h3>\n

Amherstia nobilis, popularly known as the Pride of Burma and also as world\u2019s most beautiful and rare flowering tree. A. nobilis comes under the family Fabaceae and is native to Myanmar. The tree is well known for its hanging crimson red flower clusters with small yellow markings on the petals. Due to poor seed viability, this plant species is usually propagated through vegetative propagation methods. This rare tree species was brought from JNTBGRI, Trivandrum for introduction in Green Ahalia Gardens.<\/p>\n
